Case of successful correction of severe lymphocytopenia by polypeptides of thymus in an infant

The presented observation, on the one hand, indicates the possibility of life-threatening severe lymphocytopenia as a result of prolonged exposure of glucocorticosteroid hormones on the child’s organism, on the other hand, on the possibility of the developed state correction by their antagonist (in essence a thymus hormone) - Tactivin. Tactivin can be prescribed in other life-threatening lymphocytopenia that caused by severe infectious processes, when the level of these cells in 1μl of peripheral blood becomes equal to 1/5 and less than their lower limit of the age norm. © 2017, Pediatria Ltd.
