Верный долгу до конца... (к 100-летию со дня гибели Евгения Сергеевича Боткина)

В 2018 г. исполняется 100 лет со дня гибели Евгения Сергеевича Боткина, который был последним лейб-медиком последнего российского Императора Николая II и добровольно пошел на смерть вместе со своими пациентами. В статье рассматриваются основные этапы жизненного и профессионального пути Е.С. Боткина, оценивается его вклад в развитие отечественной медицины. Описывается его научная, педагогическая и общественная деятельность, представлены основные биографические данные. Отдельно охарактеризованы этические воззрения на долг врача, основу которых составляет принцип доминанты интересов пациента. (Для цитирования: Овсянников Д.Ю., Силуянова И.В. Faithful until the very end (on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the death of Evgeny Sergeevich Botkin)

In 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Evgeny Sergeevich Botkin, who was the last medical doctor of the last Russian emperor Nicholas II and voluntarily went to his death with his patients. The article considers the main stages of the life and professional path of E.S. Botkin, his contribution to the development of national medicine is estimated. His scientific, pedagogical and social activities are described, and basic biographical data are presented. Separately, ethical views on the doctor's duty, based on the principle of the dominant interests of the patient, are characterized. (For citation: Ovsyannikov DYu, Siluyanova IV.
