The differential diagnosis of infectious and non-infectious exanthema in children

The lecture deals with the problem of differential diagnosis of infectious and non-infectious exanthema in children. It presents data on the comparative differential diagnostic signs of infectious and non-infectious exanthema. The author proposes a differential diagnosis method based on assessment of eruption morphological elements, detected by objective research. The article describes possible causes of infectious and non-infectious exanthema characterized by various primary (spot papule, blister, bump, knot, bubble, abscess, bleb) and secondary (flake, erosion, ulcer) morphological elements. © 2016, Pediatria Ltd.
