Philosophical texts in German: Difficulties and joys of translation (by the example of G. Oberhammer's article "The place where God happens")

The paper deals with the basic problem, which face a researcher of history of philosophy, who studies original philosophical texts in the German language, particularly the texts of the Austrian philosopher and historian of Indian philosophy Gerhard Oberhammer. The authors describe the main linguistic parameters of such a text. The authors declare that specific syntactical and terminological peculiarities of the German philosophical language could help a reader to avoid some misunderstanding of such a text.
