Topology of formation of latexes in heterogeneous static monomer-water systems

In the static model system styrene-aqueous solution of potassium persulfate was shown that the boundary layer of the monomer phase is one of the areas of the emulsion polymerization processes in which monomer phase is dispersed. It is proposed that the high rate of conversion of the monomer in the polymerization of monomers in emulsions is also associated with the polymerization reaction of the monomer in the boundary layer area. © 2018 by Apple Academic Press, Inc.
