There is always normal harmless microflora in the animal's organisms. But there are also pathogenic microorganisms in body. For whatever reason they can cause different diseases. Vaginal candidiasis is one of the most frequent infections, where an infectious agent is the opportunistic pathogen. The purpose of this research was to estimate, whether obligatory microorganisms can have some antagonistic interaction with non-persistent bacteria of mucosa, so that it can be used to produce drugs against diseases caused by pathogenic and potentially pathogenic bacteria.Materials and methods. We used experimental and observation methods in our research. Bacteria Enterococcus faecium were used as normal flora agents, and fungi Candida albicans were used as pathogens. The experiment was carried out on laboratory rats through the creation of vaginal candidiasis model and administration of enterococci into rats' vagina.Results. The lowered maintenance of C. albicans in vagina of rats has been revealed as a result of this research.Conclusion. Proceeding from the obtained data we assume that E. faecium have enterocyn possessing fungicidal action that allows to speak about perspectivity of creation of the preparations which aren't resulting in resistance and providing a clear production of animal husbandry further.
