Агентство по международному развитию США (USAID) как инструмент политического влияния в Республике Армения

в данной статье автором описывается история становления и развития отношений между Соединёнными Штатами и Республикой Армения (далее - Армения, РА) в контексте деятельности и роли Агентства США по международному развитию (далее - USAID) и его влияния на социально-экономическое и политическое развитие Армении. Актуальность данной темы не вызывает сомнений в свете широкого применения методов демократизации со стороны США в других странах мира. В результате анализа удалось проследить прямую финансовую поддержку со стороны США. Хронологические рамки исследования охватывают период с 1992 по 2022 гг. В ходе исследования автор выделил два основных этапа становления и развитие деятельности агентства USAID в Армении, а также его результаты за последние 30 лет. Автором также проведён анализ двухстороннего соглашения о сотрудничестве между Арменией и США, а также основные программы грантовой поддержки USAID и их реализация в Армении. В результате исследования будут определены основные направления внешней политики США в Армении посредством агентства USAID.

within the framework of this article, the author describes the history of the formation and development of relations between the United States and the Republic of Armenia (hereinafter referred to as Armenia, RA) in the context of the activities and role of the United States Agency for International Development (hereinafter referred to as USAID) and its influence on the socio-economic and political development of Armenia. The relevance of this topic is beyond doubt in light of the widespread use of democratization methods by the United States in other countries of the world. As a result of the analysis, it was possible to trace direct financial support from the United States. The chronological scope of the study covers the period from 1992 to 2022. During the study, the author identified two main stages in the formation and development of the USAID agency in Armenia, as well as its results over the past 30 years. The author also analyzed the bilateral cooperation agreement between Armenia and the United States, as well as the main USAID grant support programs and their implementation in Armenia. As a result of the study, the main directions of US foreign policy in Armenia through the USAID agency will be determined.
