Торговые связи Мероитского царства с античным миром в VI в. до н. э. - сер. III в. н. э

Целью статьи является изучение торговых отношений Мероитского царства с греко-римской ойкуменой в период с VI в. до н. э. по сер. III в. н. э. При изучении археологических и письменных источников использовались методы комплексного изучения и сравнительного анализа привлекаемых источников. Установлено, что Мероисткое царство несмотря на свою отдаленность от Средиземноморья и географическую изолированность имело прямые контакты с греко-римской ойкуменой в VI в. до н. э. - сер. III в. н. э. и развивалось в ее русле.

The purpose of the article is to study the trade relations of the Meroitic kingdom with the Greco-Roman Ecumene in the period from the 6th century BC to the early 3rd century AD. For studying archaeological and written sources were used the methods of complex study and comparative analysis of the sources involved. It was established that the Meroitic kingdom, despite its remoteness from the Mediterranean and geographical isolation, had direct contacts with the Greco-Roman Ecumene in the period from the 6th century BC to the early 3rd century AD and developed in its course.
