Rapid Persistence Testing of Ring Laser Gyroscopes

The paper presents the methodology and results of accelerated persistence testing of ring laser gyroscopes with a magneto-optical frequency bias based on the Zeeman effect. Insignificant changes in the anode voltage and the amplitude of the frequency bias are revealed, which do not affect the ring laser gyroscopes performance. According to the results of the accelerated tests, the persistence of ring laser gyroscopes has been confirmed at 18 years. © 2023 Concern CSRI Elektropribor, JSC.
