Problems of protection of intellectual property in Russia

Branding and protection of trademark rights are especially important for the hotel business. A trademark under the Civil Code of the Russian Federation is a designation with the help of which other people distinguish one hotel from another. Registration of a trademark is a guarantee that no one will use the brand name. The article is devoted to the study of legal contradictions in the legislative acts of the Russian Federation that regulate the activities of intellectual property objects. The author emphasizes that recently the regulatory framework has been improved, but legal contradictions remain.
