As cities develop, they require more and more modern spaces that can meet the needs of modern society. At the time being people need green and sustainable environment that provide new opportunity for cooperation and communication; places that can accommodate and connect different social groups and communities. The Camden Highline team proposes the project that aims to fulfill all the aforementioned aspects. The project is an elevated park made from an abandoned railway. The park is more than a kilometer in length and can accommodate various activities, from trainspotting to outdoor training. The Camden Highline is designed to preserve and enrich the heritage of the region by using modern and unique architecture approaches. The project team already has a planning permission granted, and they are seeking donors to help fund the cost of the first section. Two additional sections are then planned to follow.
