THE ROLE OF FRIENDSHIP IN THE LIFE OF MODERN YOUTH

The article is devoted to the study of the development of friendly relations of modern youth. As is known, in any team, including the young team, there are selective relations. Friendship mutually enriches boys and girls, expands their interests, they have a desire to help each other, together experiencing joys and sorrows. Therefore, this topic is relevant today. The research was conducted among a group of peers, in which 1st year students, age 17-18 years old, took part. During the analysis of psychological research of the phenomenon of friendship, we found that the need for a friend and friendship remains one of the most important among young people. Specific content of the concept of friend and friendship varies among young people of different gender and age.
