The article analyzes one of the genres of professional-network medical discourse - the official medical site. It is shown that this genre is characterized by intensive borrowings, hybridization of colloquial components, functional styles and semiotic systems modeling multifunctionality and multimodality of network medical discourse. The article states that the study of the Internet language, including the linguistic features of corporate sites, provides important information about oral, written and electronic speech. To study the linguistic features and the main trends in structuring information on official websites, sites of different medical institutions were selected. An analysis of texts posted on websites of medical institutions has revealed a number of features that will make it possible to approach the understanding of many aspects of professional communication in the modern business community. The materials of the article can be used for linguistic and methodological purposes, i.e., to train future physicians in professional communication skills as well as for university courses on communication studies, verbal communication, speech culture, discourse theory and text interpretation.
