Research-based learning becomes increasingly important in the era of knowledge-based society: Labor market requires that graduates could quickly and adequately navigate through diverse information landscape, search and process data, adapting it to the emerging tasks and contexts. To this end university-based educational process is supposed to laid particular emphasis on students' research activities. Scholars agree that properly delivered training could develop the students' ability to conduct research by collecting evidence via multidisciplinary resources and further using information to provide up-to- date solutions. Moreover, there is a common understanding across Academia that the research-based learning environment can be an efficient tool for academic community advance in terms of bridging the gap between Academia and Industry (market). Nonetheless, the door is still open to concrete tools being identified to enhance research-based learning through universities worldwide. The present research question focuses on students and teachers' views regarding the most-in-demand components to build up and promote research-based learning environment in higher education institutions The research was implemented within the framework of the RUDN university participation in the Russia-wide 5-100 project.
