October 28, 2017, General and Russian linguistics Department of the philological faculty of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia together with the philological faculty of Yerevan state University (Armenia) in the framework of the Program of increase of competitiveness of RUDN University "5-100" project M 2.4.1. P 1 held The International Scientific-practical Conference of young scientists "Languages. Peoples. Cultures".75 young scientists took part at the Conference - undergraduate and graduate students of philological faculties studying in the areas of "Linguistics", "Philology", "Journalism". Under the slogan of RUDN University "Unescamus Scientia" young scientists from different countries such as Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Montenegro, Poland, Spain, Colombia, Mongolia, China, Libya, Algeria, Syria, Jordan, Afghanistan, Madagascar, and Vietnam met at the Conference at RUDN University.The working Program of the conference included three sections: "From the methodology of linguistics to interdisciplinary research" (moderators: PhD. Aleksandrova O.I., PhD. Rybakov M.A.), "Actual problems of modern linguistics" (moderators: doctor of Philology science Remchukova E.N., PhD. Bubnova N.N., PhD. Lazareva O.V.), "Modern comparative studies" (moderators: PhD. Perfilieva N.V., PhD. Novospasskaya N.V., PhD. Mikheeva E.S.). The working languages at the conference were Russian, English and Spanish.At the end of the work of the sections, a vote was taken: all speakers and guests of the conference were asked to identify the most interesting and bright reports. The winners of the vote were awarded with memorable gifts with symbols of RUDN University.It should be noted that all the reports presented at the International Scientific-practical Conference "Languages. Peoples. Cultures" have shown a deep interest of young scientists in the study of various aspects of Philology and Linguistics, their high intellectual potential and broad outlook.On behalf of the organizing Committee we thank the conference participants for an interesting communication and we wish them new scientific discoveries!
