Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) is a partly ionized gas with a temperature of the environment. CAP has a bactericidal effect against bacteria, spores and fungi in vitro and in vivo, and wound-healing effect (S. Ermolaeva et al., 2010, E. Sysolyatina et al., 2014). The purpose of this work was to establish the influence of a regime of cold microwave argon plasma treatments on the physiological characteristics of human fibroblasts and keratinocytes and speed healing of infected wounds.
