The aim of study was to evaluate the influence of intermittent normobaric hypoxic training on vegetative status of athletes in preparation for the championship.Intermittent normobaric hypoxic training was conducted at eight international masters of sport rowing. To assess the autonomic status of athletes used the analysis of heart rate variability. According to the analysis of heart rate variability after the course of hypoxic training for all athletes showed a significant decrease in average heart rate numbers, as well as the decrease of the number of extrasystoles. The results of observation we can conclude that intermittent normobaric hypoxic training has a positive effect on vegetative status world-class athletes. This effect refers to the active involvement of the complex mechanisms of compensation and adaptation under extreme physical exertion.
