К ВОПРОСУ О ЛОКАЛИЗАЦИИ ПЕРВЫХ ЛЕТОПИСНЫХ ВОСТОЧНОСЛАВЯНСКИХ ПЛЕМЕН

Проанализирован список первого летописного свидетельства о восточных славянах, известного как «Баварский географ». Установлены названия двадцати двух племен, которые можно отнести к восточным славянам. Для их локализации предложен принцип поиска географических топонимов, давших этим племенам названия. С помощью этого принципа установлено месторасположение всех двадцати двух легендарных племен, что позволяет отнести их к конкретному племенному объединению, известному из русских летописей. Расположение племен также доказывает, что восточные славяне заселяли Восточную Европу, передвигаясь по рекам.

TO THE QUESTION ON THE LOCALIZATION OF FIRST CHRONICAL EAST SLAVIC TRIBES

The list of first chronical document known as Bavarian Geographer which informed about Each-Slavic tribes has been analysed. The names of twenty second tribes are determined those may be belonged to East Slavic peoples. For their localization the principle of search of geographical toponyms with the like names are proposed. By use of this principle the location of studied legendary tribes from Bavarian Geographer list are determined that allows to correspond these tribes to definite ethnic East-Slavic formation known from Russian chronicles. The localizations of tribes prove that East-Slavic peoples locate the territory of east Europe by moving on rivers.
