РОЛЬ ЦИТОКИНОВ В КЛИНИЧЕСКОМ ТЕЧЕНИИ ТРОПИЧЕСКОЙ МАЛЯРИИ У ДЕТЕЙ

The paper gives data on impaired cytokine status inchildren with tropical malaria. There have been heterodi-rectional changes in the level of cytokines during the infectious process and in relation to the severity of the pathological process, which allow prediction of the course oftropical malaria. Correlations were found between theclinical and laboratory parameters and the level of proin-flammatory cytokines, which provide evidence for animportant role of inflammatory mediators in the clinicalcourse of the disease. The findings suggest that it is expedient to correct immune disorders in the early stages oftropical malaria.
