The article contains methods of calculation of the boundary values of the relative height of compressed zone ξR and percentage of reinforcement μR, based on the deformation model of the hypothesis of flat sections. The elastic-plastic law of the approximation of the diagram of the stresses of concrete of compressed zone is used for the calculation. The basic parameters of diagram "σ-ε(x)" ξR λ т, μ β are determined. The experimental substantiation of their authenticity is given. Simplicity and authenticity distinguishes the calculation method. It can be used in the practice of design and instruction in construction specialities. 22
