VIDEOENDOSCOPIC OPERATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH VARIOCELE (A REVIEW)

The article is devoted to a wide studying of modern methods of surgical treatment of varicocele. The epidemiology is shortly reviewed. The advantages and disadvantages of Palomo and Ivanisevitch operations are discussed, including the percentage of complications. The place and the role of laparoscopic operations are observed, as well as the retroperitoneo-scopic approach. The authors pay attention to the economic effect of the operations, underlining that the endoscopic operations have a serious economical advantage.
