MEDIA OF COMMUNICATION AS AN INSTRUMENT OF SOCIO-POLITICAL REALITY TRANSFORMATION

The essay is devoted to some aspects of political communication theory. The author pays special attention to the methods of communication research with its critical commentary. He is proposed a theoretical construction for describing the role played by media of communication in the emergence and development of modern socio-political reality. This construction is based on ideas of J. Habermas, M. Foucault, J. Thomson, communication researches of H. Innis and J. Meyrowitz, and hermeneutics tradition.
