МУМИФИКАЦИЯ В ДРЕВНЕМ ЕГИПТЕ

Известные мумии древних людей Египта представляют собой ключ к получению значимой информации не только о жизни и здоровье человека, но и о погребальном обряде. В статье дается определение понятия «мумия», рассматриваются различные техники мумификации в разные периоды античного мира с учетом классовой принадлежности людей. Этичность данного обряда до сих пор остается под вопросом и требует внимательного изучения, чем и определяется актуальность данного исследования.

MUMMIFICATION IN АNCIENT EGYPT

The well-known mummies of the ancient Egypt people represent a key of significant information not only about the life and health of a certain person, but also about the funeral rite that was performed after his death. This article gives the formation of the concept of «mummy», discusses various mummification techniques in different periods of the ancient world, taking into account the fact of class stratification. The relevance of the present research lies in the fact that the ethics of the provided rite is still in question and requires attention in the modern world.
