СПОСОБЫ ПЕРЕВОДА ПРОСТОРЕЧИЯ В ХУДОЖЕСТВЕННОМ ТЕКСТЕ

Данная статья посвящена анализу особенностей и методов перевода английских просторечных выражений на русский язык на основе материалов англо- и русскоязычных литературных произведений. Просторечия плотно вошли в жизнь каждого человека, а многие из них уже могут считаться нормами литературного языка. Благодаря просторечным выражениям можно делать выводы не только о характере, но и о социологическом портрете человека. А в литературных произведениях именно за счет просторечий и жаргонизмов читатель может четче понимать смысл и эмоциональную окраску события, повествуемых автором. Поэтому, переводчику крайне важно правильно передать значение просторечных выражений с одного языка на другой.

WAYS OF TRANSLATING THE VERNACULAR IN A LITERARY TEXT

This article is devoted to the analysis of the features and methods of translation of English vernacular expressions into Russian on the basis of materials of English- and Russian-language literary works. Colloquialisms have become firmly embedded in the life of every person, and many of them can already be considered the norms of the literary language. Thanks to vernacular expressions, it is possible to draw conclusions not only about the character, but also about the sociological portrait of a person. And in literary works, it is due to colloquialisms and jargon that the reader can more clearly understand the meaning and emotional coloring of the events narrated by the author. Therefore, it is extremely important for a translator to correctly convey the meaning of colloquial expressions from one language to another.
